THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT (Gal.5: 22-23)




The fruit of the Spirit is the Life and Nature of God that we have in us that makes us fruitful. The fruit of a tree is the essence of that tree, It is what the tree is known for, its identity, Matt. 12:33. God is the Vine and we are the branches. It is the fruit (nature) of God that produces the fruits (work) of God in our lives, John15:4-5.
The fruit of the Spirit is not the opposite of the works of the flesh, Gal. 5:19-23. The fruit of the Spirit is a nature; the works of the flesh are actions.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE ONLY SOME OF THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT?
No, we may exhibit only some of the character produced by the complete fruit of the Spirit in us, but we have the fruit of the Spirit in us as believers, Rom. 8:9. We have God’s Spirit in us and all of His nature (the fruit) is in us. What we need is to exhibit more of His characters, by allowing the fruit (His nature) influence our lives more and more.

HOW DO WE EXHIBIT THE CHARACTER OF THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT?      
By knowing God and yielding to Him at all times, Gal.6:8, Psalm 119:9. Allow yourself to be conscious of and controlled by God’s Spirit. The more you do this, the more you will exhibit and develop Godly characters.          

INSIGHT INTO THE FRUIT, Gal. 5:22-23.
LOVE: The Nature of God in us that makes us committed to the wellbeing of others.
JOY: The Nature of God that makes us rejoice in Him and serve Him in good and bad times.
PEACE: The Nature of God that makes us calm even in the midst of storm.
PATIENCE: The Nature of God that helps us endure and persist in any circumstance.
GENTLENESS: The Nature of God that makes us behave rightly at all times.
GOODNESS: The Nature of God that helps us exhibit right values.
FAITH:           The Nature of God that makes us loyal and faithful.
MEEKNESS: The Nature of God that makes us humble.
TEMPERANCE: The Nature of God that makes us self controlled.

How Message Quotes Are Compiled And Designed At The Historic Miracle Centre

  I'm sure you must have seen designs containing quotes that were made during church gatherings or some other events. Something like this: In this blog post, I will be showing you briefly the basic system and structure used in the church I attend - Church of God Mission International, The Historic Miracle Centre, Benin City.  The aim of this post is to inspire and guide any church media team that is interested in either setting up such a structure and system, or beefing up the structure/system they have. Bishop FEB Idahosa (All Time) – Bishop FEB Idahosa is a great man that I have been privileged to meet and be trained and inspired by. One thing I remember very well, is how Bishop FEB made me and other leaders of Christian Fellowship International meet with great ministers of God when these ministers came for Church of God Mission Conventions and programs. I mean people we only see on TV. As a student at that time, those meetings were such a great blessing. Later on as a CGMI Model Church Pastor, we had great times and meetings with Bishop FEB and his lovely wife – Rev.
