My Summary of Bill Johnson's Book "GOD IS GOOD" - Part I




We can't blame God for all the evils in the world because He has given us freewill. God can invade this world forcefully to fix all the problems but that will mean Him taking away one of the greatest things He created - our freewill. He has chosen instead to invade this world with His love. He wants us to be so conquered by His love and sacrifice for us through Christ that we yield ourselves to Him and receive all the solutions He has in store for us. 

Jesus perfectly revealed God's heart in every situation He found Himself. He never permitted evil to prevail. God’s willingness to display His goodness and love in various situations of mankind has not ended. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. To the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, Isa.9:7
We never go back in our revelation and experience of the Kingdom. We keep going forward and it keeps getting better. Jesus said we would do the works He did and even greater works, John 14:12.

We can't maximize the wonderful things in our account in Christ if we don't know they are there. The Life Jesus lived on earth is a model of the beginning of what is in our account in Him. Jesus has given us everything that belongs to Him; which is also everything the Father has! John 16:14-15. The Life Jesus modelled for us was not to whet our appetites for Heaven but to demonstrate how we can be like Him and bring Heaven down to earth right now. He will take us to Heaven by His grace but it is our responsibility to bring Heaven down to earth right now through prayer and obedience. 

Jesus declared the Kingdom was at hand by manifesting God's power to save, deliver, restore and bless lives. Now He expects us to do the same as we continue with this same message. He wants our experience to increase and get better than what He experienced.

There are two words for God's will - boulema and Thelema 
Boulema refers to unchangeable things like Jesus is coming back again.
Thelema refers to God's desires whose fulfilments are based on our faith in them and our choices.

  I'm sure you must have seen designs containing quotes that were made during church gatherings or some other events. Something like this: In this blog post, I will be showing you briefly the basic system and structure used in the church I attend - Church of God Mission International, The Historic Miracle Centre, Benin City.  The aim of this post is to inspire and guide any church media team that is interested in either setting up such a structure and system, or beefing up the structure/system they have. Bishop FEB Idahosa (All Time) – Bishop FEB Idahosa is a great man that I have been privileged to meet and be trained and inspired by. One thing I remember very well, is how Bishop FEB made me and other leaders of Christian Fellowship International meet with great ministers of God when these ministers came for Church of God Mission Conventions and programs. I mean people we only see on TV. As a student at that time, those meetings were such a great blessing.
