Before You Conclude

Never accept a narrative about anyone with any form of finality until you have met the person yourself. You may have an impression about a person based on what others say, but do not conclude till you have a one on one experience. Sometimes things are just not the way people say. When someone comes to you with a narrative about another person that completely alters your perception of him or her, the question you need to ask in your head as you listen is this, did this person try to get or gain something from this other person and it didn't work out right? by Pastor Poju Oyemade

Instead of trying to protect and preserve their lives, they were both literally fighting to be the one to make the ‘life sacrifice’.   As seen in the following screenshots:   It was indeed a touching and inspiring scene. So what powerful lessons can we learn from this scene? Someone once said it is not the duration of your life that matters but the donation of your life. In a world where there is so much emphasis on ‘self-
